Fortnite OG Butterfly Live Event Date and Start Time
The Fortnite OG Butterfly Live Event will take place on November 8, 2025, at 2 PM ET in the game. The event will take place in regular OG Battle Royale and OG Zero Build lobbies, and players will be able to queue in lobbies 30 minutes prior to the event with their friends. The live-event build-up is already live in Loot Lake as the cabin and surrounding islands are now levitating in the air with Kevin the Cube revealed underneath. The corruption has spread across the island, and a red version of Kevin has taken over.

What Will Happen at the OG Butterfly Live Event?
According to leakers, the OG Butterfly Live Event will bring back the same style that Fortnite players saw all the way back in Chapter 1, but with a red version of the butterfly and Kevin the Cube during the event. Players will enter a rift dimension as a Rift Butterfly surrounds them. Then, once they make contact with the butterfly, they will be teleported back onto the island where the red cube’s corruption will have taken over. While the actual event duration is unknown, it will most probably last around 10-15 minutes, followed by a short hotfix that will bring some changes to the ongoing season’s island.
