How to Complete the Monke Quest in The Forge
The Monke NPC in The Forge is located on one of the outer islands in the Forgotten Kingdom. Therefore, the first prerequisite is to reach level 10, get the portal tool, and teleport yourself to the next island. As soon as you spawn, turn around and move close to the sea. Notice that there will be a small island with 3 palm trees at the farthest distance. Reach the island, and behind the rocks, you will find the Monke NPC sitting next to a pile of banana peels. Interact with the Monke by pressing the ‘E‘ key, and it will state that it’s hungry. Guess what can satisfy the Monke’s hunger? No, it’s not bananas, but rather the Bananite ores that you can find from mining the rocks with your pickaxes in the deeper caves at Stonewake’s Cross. The Monke NPC will accept Bananite ores in amounts of 10, 20, or 30. But we recommend that you bring the maximum amount if possible to get the best rewards. Activating this The Forge quest early in the game will reduce the effort of mining rocks specifically for Bananite. You can simply head back to the first island and farm for better ores for leveling up and forging new weapons with the best weapon crafting recipes, while the quest keeps progressing in the background.
Where to Find Bananite for The Forge Monke
Now, coming to the question of where to find the Bananite ores, you will have to go back to Stonewake’s Cross. Head back to the cave and make your way deep inside, where you can find Boulders and Rocks instead of the puny pebbles. Boulders have the best chances to have Bananites because these ores have a 1 in 30 chance to drop. Since mining Boulders can give you up to 3 ores at once, this method is efficient than mining Rocks or Pebbles. Once you gather all 30 Bananites, use your portal to head back to the Forgotten Kingdom and reach the Monke NPC. Talk to the Monke NPC again and hand him the 30 Bananites. He will then reward you with a whopping $10,000 cash and 5000 XP. This can help beginners in The Forge to kickstart their progression while leveling up on the side.
