The Mounts of Mayhem update is going to be one of the most ambitious and content-rich drops Mojang has set up for Minecraft. The star of the update is the underwater Nautilus mob, typically found in ocean biomes. Players can tame and ride this creature to breathe for an infinite time underwater while exploring the Ocean Monuments and Ruins. However, there are always perils on the way due to the presence of hostile mobs riding the Zombie Nautilus. To increase your defense, you can consider equipping your mount with the Nautilus armor. Another big gameplay shift is the introduction of the Spear, a new tiered weapon with two attack styles- the Jab and the Charged attack. You can also apply the Lunge enchantment on the Spear to gain some additional abilities as well. With this new weapon, jousting is fully possible on mounts with your friends. The desert biomes will no longer feel deserted due to the new Camel Husks and the Parched mob. In addition to that, these biomes have become far dangerous because hostile mobs can spawn riding these mounts. Lastly, the Zombie Horse has made its appearance in the survival mode, and a few hostile mobs can also spawn riding them at night.
