Marathon will be released on March 5, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam). The title was originally eyeing a release on September 23, 2025. However, due to controversies around the game after the Closed Alpha, Bungie chose to delay the title indefinitely, landing on the March 2026 release date. During the delay, the developers have worked on bringing key features that were absent from the Alpha Test.
