Marathon Release Date and Price

Bungie has revealed that the standard edition of Marathon will be priced at $39.99, which is lower than the industry standard of $70-$80, and will release on March 5, 2026. This price point makes it easier for squads to hop into the game while also deterring cheaters, a huge problem in extraction shooters, with a paywall.

All Marathon Editions

Marathon features three separate editions that you can choose from: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition. Each of these versions is varied when it comes to its contents. Here’s a breakdown of all of the Marathon editions and what they include:

Standard Edition – $39.99

Base Game 7x Runner Shells Access to all future updates.

Deluxe Edition – $59.99

Base Game “Midnight Decay” Cosmetic Set: A stylized skin bundle for 4 of the Runner classes (Thief, Vandal, Destroyer, Assassin) as well as certain weapons (Misriah 2442 Pump Shotgun and Overrun AR). Collector’s Edition – $229.99

All Deluxe Edition digital content. 1/6 Scale Thief Runner Statue: Produced by PureArts, detailing the “Sekiguchi Genetics” shell-weaving aesthetic.
