How to Unlock Remus Sidekick for Free in Fortnite
The Remus Sidekick will only be available for free for a very specific group of players. Players who own the original Remus back bling, a cosmetic from the Chapter 1 Season 7 Battle Pass, will receive the Remus Sidekick for free. The Remus back bling was available at Tier 35 of the Chapter 1 Season 7 Battle Pass. Now, the back bling, much like Kitsune, is being turned into a full-fledged Sidekick that follows you around. To redeem the Remus Sidekick, you can follow these steps:
Log in to Fortnite after the 39.30 update using the account that owns the original Remus back bling. You will receive the Remus Sidekick automatically. If you have trouble finding it, you can head to your locker and filter by Sidekicks. You should then be able to find the Remus Sidekick in your inventory.
Once you select this new sidekick, you can customize it with your style choices and equip it before getting on the Battle Bus for a Battle Royale match or heading into the blocky world of LEGO Fortnite. You do not have to complete any quests to unlock the Remus Sidekick if you already own the back bling. If you do not own the Remus back bling from Chapter 1 Season 7, don’t worry.
