How to Unlock the Free Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool in Arc Raiders
To unlock the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool, new or existing players just need to boot up the game before 23:59 CET (or 5:59 PM ET) on January 13, 2026. Upon doing this, you will automatically become eligible for the free Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool in Arc Raiders. After this, all you have to do is wait till 11 AM CET on January 13, 2026. This is when Embark Studios will begin sending out the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool to in-game inboxes. You can then equip this new tool in your loadout and head out on an expedition to test it out. The Raider Tool is the primary melee weapon in Arc Raiders, and it deals 25 damage with each swing. Using this tool allows you to breach doors, use ziplines, and fight enemies like Sentinels. It is important to remember that the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool is a reskin variant of the base tool and provides no competitive advantage apart from a visual upgrade. With the recent Trigger Nade nerf and this new giveaway, Embark Studios is placing a heavy emphasis on Arc Raiders’ community.
