How to Obtain Cryolash Rod in Fisch
The Cryolash Rod is located at the Boreal Pines region, a new island in the Northern Expedition area. Once you enter the game after the update, here is a step-by-step process to find the rod:
Head to the portal that teleports you to Northern Expedition, and go straight to the Boreal Pines. Having landed on the island, walk left of the Marvin NPC, and keep going straight till you see a ledge on the left.
Now, walk up this ledge to reach the second level. Here, you can spot a small hut in front of you. Go inside the hut, and you will find the Jack Merchant NPC sitting on the chair, along with the Cryolash Rod lying on the bed.
Alternatively, you can simply use the GPS in Fisch to reach these coordinates: 21480.2, 188.9, 4052.1.
Now, having known the location of the rod won’t readily give you permission to buy it as well. You must be atleast level 500 in the game, and first complete the Boreal Pines bestiary along with the exotic Frostwyrm to unlock the Cryolash Rod. Having done that, you can head back to this hut and buy the rod by paying 3,500,000C$.
Fisch Cryolash Rod Stats and Abilities
The Cryolash Rod is designed for aggressive reeling rather than smooth control while fishing. It has a cool skin and heavy resistance to help you catch almost any fish in the game. That said, here are the stats of the rod:

In addition to those attractive stats, this rod comes with a passive ability that hurls icicles at the fish. So, while reeling in a fish, you will experience an unstable control bar; however, the rod will gain massive bursts of progress speed boosts (+50%) during this time. It also has a chance to give Frozen (1.5x) and Glacial (8x) mutations.
