The Cryoshock Serpent can be caught inside the pool of the Cryoshock Cellar area. However, to access the Cryoshock Cellar, you must complete certain steps. Here are the steps you must follow to get to the cellar:
Go to the Glacial Ridge Igloo and purchase the Frost Moon Totem for 5000 Bells. Use the totem and interact with the Northstar Village levers to unlock the hatch. Fish for the Essence Of Winter and Essence Of Starfrost in the Northstar Village pools during the Frost Moon weather. Complete the Santa’s Miracle Rod quest to obtain the Everfrost Key. Enter the hatch and insert the Essence Of Winter and Essence Of Starfrost into the mouth of the Cryoshock Serpent statue. Once the blue buttons lit up, use the Everfrost Key to open the gate to the cellar.
Tips and Tricks to Get the Cryoshock Serpent in Fisch
To catch the Cryoshock Serpent in Fisch, you will need any of the Fischmas 2 rods, such as Santa’s Miracle Rod, Christmas Tree Rod, Jinglestar Rod, Gingerbread Rod, Peppermint Rod, or Maelstrom. But that’s not all. You will also need the Fischmas 2 enchantments, such as Gingerbread, Merry, or Peppermint. These limited enchantments are available through Festive Relics. You can catch the Cryoshock Serpent once in Fisch. Even if you use rods that duplicate fish catches, it will not work on this one. Once you complete the catch, you can cross the frozen platforms to get the Maelstrom Rod.
