Is The Alien Franchise Teased in Predator Badlands?
If you are yearning for a good version of the previous Alien vs Predator movies, you might be in luck. The reason I say this is that Predator Badlands might just have confirmed that there are prospects for a crossover between the Alien and the Predator franchise. In the trailer itself, we are introduced to Thia, an android that the Predator discovers on the planet he is out hunting on. It is confirmed that Thia, the android seen in Predator Badlands, is a Wayland-Yutani android, the central figure of the Alien franchise. Elle Fanning confirmed in an interview as well that she is playing the role of two Wayland-Yutani androids in Predator Badlands, and it was easy for her as the two characters never share the screen together. Now we can’t say with certainty when it will happen, but there is a very good chance that the next outing from the franchise could give us an Alien vs Predator reboot, considering that the Xenomorphs are back in action with releases like Alien Romulus and Alien Earth.
