Who is Terminus in Honkai Star Rail?
Terminus is the Aeon that presides over the path of Finality. This Aeon exists in the past and travels backward in time towards the birth of the Universe. During Honkai Star Rail 3.8 mission, we learned that Terminus has split up its divine corpus into strands of powers, which appear as black cats. You may have seen a black cat appear next to the Stellaron Hunters. Previously, this cat was assumed to be Elio, but now it has been confirmed that it is one of the strands of Terminus’s divine corpus. With Stellaron Hunters following the path of Finality, this can be how Elio writes his script, by deciphering the murmurs of the black cat. The Dahlia also mentioned that Elio is a much more special being, which makes us more curious to find out his real identity in the future.
The Four Paths of Finality
Terminus has a prophecy that mentions four paths of Finality, which will lead to the destruction of the Universe. These four paths have now been revealed, and they are:
Destruction Nihility Harmony Remembrance
Whether the Aeons of these paths will eventually become Terminus and the Aeon of Finality in the end or simply lead to the birth of Terminus is yet unknown.
All Factions of Finality
Currently, three known factions follow the path of Finality. Out of them, only Stellaron Hunters have extensively appeared in the story and play a big role in shaping the world of Honkai Star Rail. Here are all the factions of Finality:
