All Star Tower Defense X Units Tier List
At release, All Star Tower Defense X features many characters inspired by top-tier anime legends. But with limited space on your team, you can’t just throw any unit into battle. That’s why it is important to pick characters that fit both the current meta and your playstyle. In our tier list, we have ranked every unit based on how effective they are at clearing enemy waves or making you money. During our testing, some units clearly outperformed others and made progression much smoother. We’ve grouped them from S to D tier, where S-tier heroes represent the strongest characters in All Star Tower Defense X.
Best All Star Tower Defense X Units
Below, we have listed all the characters from All Star Tower Defense X based on their abilities. We have also mentioned the pros and cons so that you know which one suits your style.
S Tier Units
Starting our list with S tier, here are some of the strongest units you can pull in the game. While the unbound characters occupy the top spots, there are a few 5-star ones that can be your first pick anytime.
A Tier Units
The A tier consists of all the best overall characters that can be frontline damage dealers or supports.
B Tier Units
These units are much easier to summon, but not all are good for every game mode. Pick them after checking up on their stats, but you don’t need to do that with Ramen Grill-Master since it’s one of the best money units in All Star Tower Defense X.
C Tier Units
If you are looking to finish the story mode, all C-tier ASTDX units are ideal. They are easy to obtain and give you a massive DPS advantage.
D Tier Units
The D-tier units will be good enough for all the starter players who are yet to pull any 4-star and 5-star units. However, you must upgrade them asap to clear waves faster.
How to Get New Units in All Star Tower Defense X
The majority of the available units in ASTDX are only available through summoning. Luckily, you can use the All Star Tower Defense X codes to get a lot of gems, which you can use in the summon area. To obtain the best units, you must check the banner and wait for the best units to appear on the index. Once it is there, here is how you can summon units in All Star Tower Defense X:
Click the Warp button on the left side of the screen. Go to the Summon area to start pulling new units. Click 1x Summon (50 Gems) or 10x Summons (450 Gems) to start pulling units. You can select a banner from the left menu by clicking Y or X.
Apart from codes, you can get gems from the AFK area and quests. As you keep clearing Infinity rounds or Story mode, you will gain more gems fast in ASTDX.
