There are 30 classes in 99 Nights in the Forest for players to choose from. They are available through gems that can be obtained through 99 Nights in the Forest codes. Below, we have listed all of them, along with their prices and the starter tools you’ll receive when equipping them.
1. Camper
The Camper class is the cheapest class that you can get in 99 Nights in the Forest. This class isn’t that useful, as the perks aren’t that great.

2. Scavenger
The Scavenger isn’t a great class either due to its poor perks and a lack of a starter item. You can see the perks yourself in the list given below:
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: 2 sack space. Level 2 Perk: Open chests 20% faster. Level 3 Perk: Chance to get scrap as a bonus item from chests.
3. Base Defender
The Base Defender is a decent class if you are considering playing the round as a defensive unit. It comes with some good defensive perks that can help you protect your camp.
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: Starts with 2 defense blueprints Level 2 Perk: Defenses can be upgraded/upgraded durability Level 3 Perk: Defenses you place deal higher damage
4. Medic
Medic is a class that solely focuses on healing and reviving in 99 Nights in the Forest. This can be an okayish option if you are playing in a lobby of 5 and your teammates rely on life support.
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: 5x faster revives Level 2 Perk: Improved revive on others, restores more health and hunger Level 3 Perk: One of your bandages upgrades to a Medkit
5. Cook
The Cook class can be used to make some delicious food in 99 Nights in the Forest. The foods made by the Cook can restore more hunger, which can be useful as you reach more days.
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: Seasoned food restores more hunger Level 2 Perk: The Crockpot cooks 20% faster Level 3 Perk: 25% chance to make a Hearty Stew
6. Hunter
Hunter is a decent class, with nothing that special of a perk. While the higher pelt drop rate is good, you can always kill more animals and get them anyway.

7. Decorator
The Decorator class purely focuses on the aesthetics of the camp. While it may improve the game experience, we find it irrelevant to survivability, which is the main goal of 99 Nights in the Forest.

8. Support
The Support Class is more like an upgraded version of the Medic Class. If you are looking to play as a support for your team, we recommend getting this class.
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: Bond with another player at the start of the game, absorb some damage for the player, and deal more damage when closer together Level 2 Perk: Your support eats for both of you 80/20 Level 3 Perk: You can see the beam to your player at any distance
9. Brute
The Brute Class can be a good choice for new players who are still not used to the combat. It is also very low-priced, and the perks are also amazing.
Rating: 2 star Level 1 Perk: Spawns with a damage-reducing shield. Shield can taunt enemies Level 2 Perk: Enemies deal reduced damage after being taunted Level 3 Perk: Shield becomes an Obsidiron shield, can now charge and create shockwaves
10. Fisherman
The Fisherman Class in 99 Nights in the Forest is only useful for fishing and has no other benefits. If you are a dedicated angler, then this class might be for you.

11. Gambler
The Gamler class, as per the name, is heavily luck-dependent. If you love making risky bets and have an addiction to gacha, then you might want to go for this class.

12. Ranger
The Ranger is a really good class, due to its attack-based perks. This class solely focuses on Range attack using the Revolver, and can be a solid option for your early game.

13. Lumberjack
The Lumberjack class can be a decent choice if you are the one who is responsible for collecting wood in your team for the entire round. Otherwise, this class doesn’t have much value as there are plenty of wood and trees in the forest.

14. Zookeeper
The Zookeeper class in 99 Nights in the Forest was added during the Taming Update. This class is based on taming animals, which you can do using any other class. The perks aren’t that useful either.
Rating: 3 star Level 1 Perk: Your taming whistle levels faster Level 2 Perk: Feeding tamed animals restores more of their health Level 3 Perk: You can tame animals faster with the flute
15. Farmer
The Farmer is another one of those classes that doesn’t have much value. Yes, it can be useful if you are in a well-strategised team, where your responsibility is gathering crops. Otherwise, naah.
Rating: 3 star Level 1 Perk: Use the watering can to get rarer crops from farm plots Level 2 Perk: Some saplings you plant will grow into apple trees Level 3 Perk: Farm plots you water are guaranteed to grow 1 pumpkin
16. Explorer
The Explorer is a very unique class, unlike any other class in the game. As the name says, it is specifically made to make exploring much easier for players, with some of the best perks in the game.
Rating: 3 star Level 1 Perk: Gain a speed boost after clearing fog, a larger map view radius, and +2 sack space Level 2 Perk: Hunger drain is reduced the more time you spend away from the fire Level 3 Perk: See chests through walls when near and open chests faster
17. Brawler
If you love close-range combat, then the Brawler might be the best class for you. The perks are also impressive, boosting your close combat abilities.
Rating: 3 star Level 1 Perk: Can’t use ranged weapons, +40% HP, and +30% more damage with melee weapons Level 2 Perk: 10% health regeneration, regenerates sooner after taking damage Level 3 Perk: 5% chance to block incoming damage
18. Alien
The Alien class is one of the best classes for survivability. Not only does it deal a lot of damage, but it is also great at sprinting, allowing you to escape from the deer and other entities quickly.

19. Berserker
Berserker is another great class for aggressive gameplay. This class is also really good, and you can consider getting it.

20. Chef
The Chef is an upgraded version of the Cook Class. If you are into cooking, then this class is for you.

21. Blacksmith
The Blacksmith class is actually useful, as you will be crafting items in 99 Nights in the Forest. This class not only allows you to craft a lot of items, but it also unlocks the higher-tier crafting bench without even upgrading it.
Rating: 4 star Level 1 Perk: You can craft items in the next crafting bench tier (up to tier 4) Level 2 Perk: 2 random crafting bench recipes will have discounts Level 3 Perk: Chance to get extra scrap from items you put in the grinder
22. Poison Master
The Poison Master is an excellent class to take on any group of enemies. Not only does the poison deal increased damage, but it also spreads as the poisoned enemies die.

23. Fire Bandit
Just like the Poison Master, the Fire Bandit Class also deals damage over time by setting the enemies on fire. Personally, I am a huge fan of characters that can deal fire damage, and the abilities make this class one of my favourites.

24. Assassin
The Assassin is one of the best classes in 99 Nights in the Forest, due to its sheer broken passive abilities. Not only does it deal a lot of damage, but it also has great speed. On the other hand, you get some good starter items, making it a must-have class in the game.

25. Cyborg
Cyborg is one of the pricy classes, which feels like an upgrade to the Alien Class. And the price of this class is quite a lot in 99 Nights in the Forest. But the perks don’t disappoint.
Rating: 5 star Level 1 Perk: If alien tech overheats, you take damage and your armor is temporarily lowered, and excellent visibility at night Level 2 Perk: Alien tech deals increased damage Level 3 Perk: Kills restore some alien tech energy
26. Pyromaniac
Pyromaniac is another great class that can solo carry your game round. Why? Read the perks given below, and you’ll understand.

27. Big Game Hunter
Big Game Hunter, as the name says, is a bigger and better version of the Hunter Class, which we discussed previously. The perks are goated, which pretty much explains why this is one of the most expensive classes.

28. Undead
The Undead class is great if you are terrible at staying alive. It gives good revival boosts along with some great post-death advantages. Just die more to make the most out of this class.

29. Beastmaster
Another Zookeeper-like average class in 99 Nights in the Forest is the Beastmaster class. Here are the perks you get from this class, which will prove why it is pretty avoidable.

30. Necromancer
Necromancer is an expensive but very useful class in 99 Nights in the Forest. It comes with useful tools and perks. Especially when you get to fight the cultists much easily.

31. Vampire
The Vampire Class was added during the third week of the Halloween event. This class focuses on lifesteal with its perks, which can be quite useful against in-game entities.

32. Engineer
The Engineer class is the most powerful and most expensive class in the game. It spawns with a turret that deals auto damage to the enemies nearby. You can even pick it up using your hammer and reattach it anywhere you like. This class is only available during the Christmas Week 3 update, but you can use it forever after purchasing it.

33. Witch
The Witch Class is like a Chef class, but for Potions. This is an event-themed class released during the Halloween event Potion update. It specializes in buffing potions’ utility with its perks, aiding you and your teammates.
Rating: None Level 1 Perk: Throw your potion at enemies to deal damage or apply a random effect Level 2 Perk: Throw your potion at allies to heal a small amount of health Level 3 Perk: All potion effects will also apply a light poison
34. Trick or Treater
Like the Witch Class, the Trick or Treater has been released during the Trick or Treat Update. Unfortunately, players cannot keep this class permanently, as it will disappear after the event. As an event-exclusive class, it helps you grind candies faster.
Rating: None Level 1 Perk: You get 4 candies per house you visit Level 2 Perk: There is a slightly higher chance of getting a treat rather than getting a trick Level 3 Perk: You have a higher drop/find rate of candles
35. Santa’s Helper
The Santa’s Helper class was released during the 2025 Christmas Update. You can purchase this class from the Christmas Elf Shop using 30 Candy Canes. However, it cannot be kept permanently, as it will disappear after the event ends.

36. Gifting Elf
The Gifting Elf class, released during the Christmas Update, is mainly used to help teammates survive using presents. You can purchase it by spending 900 Candy Canes. Once purchased, you can use this class even after the event ends.
Rating: None Level 1 Perk: Get a small present blueprint every 3 minutes. This can be given to your teammates Level 2 Perk: Spawn with a present instantly Level 3 Perk: After day 20, you will spawn a gold present
37. Snowman
The Snowman class is another cool new class that majorly focuses on utilising snowballs and the snowball canon. The perks are also specifically made for the snowballs, buffing their utility.

How to unlock New Classes in 99 Nights in the Forest
Players can unlock new classes by purchasing them from the Daily Class Shop in the Lobby. The Daily Class Shop is located on the left side when you start the game. You can also access it by clicking the Classes button on the left side of the screen. A random selection of 99 Nights in the Forest classes is available in the shop, which changes every 24 hours. You get a free reroll when you first start the game. Once used, you can spend 99 Robux to reroll again. Classes that are in stock can be bought using Diamonds in 99 Nights in the Forest.
